Welcome to the first of what will be many updates relating to Birkin Australia. This newsletter aims to inform all valued members about relevant information regarding new Birkin stock and products, Birkin events and other changes to the website that will be of use or importance.
New Birkin Stock Arrives in Australia:
We have just received a further shipment of 6 complete kits from Birkin South Africa. With existing preorders and backlogs to fill, any remaining kits are expected to be snapped up fast! Do not hesitate to contact your local distributor if you have any questions or needs regarding this latest shipment!
Birkin Motorsport Products:
After much anticipation, the first batch of many Birkin Motorsport upgrades has also arrived. This batch includes parts such as the Wide Track Upgrades, Carbon Fiber and Fiberglass variants of nose cone, scuttle, guards, tonneau covers and race spec seats. The one piece bonnet and scuttle will be of particular interest to racers who require easy access to behind the dash. New Zetec Engines and Raceline Accessories:
We have also received a stock of 8 brand new 2 litre Zetec engines. These engines have been provided in Euro spec and meet ADR 79/01 emissions specification (Euro 3) when used with the appropriate standard Ford Focus computer. We are currently finalizing a complete engine installation kit including wiring harness, sensors and computer and will be able to offer a turn key price over the coming weeks.
The engines can be offered with the highest quality accessory products from Raceline Engineering, an English company that specializes in engine installations and performance upgrades for self build cars. They have provided low profile sumps, remote oil filter housings and water rail kits for that professional installation in the Birkin chassis.
Torque Settings for Bolts on S3 model:
An additional PDF has been uploaded for the S3 model relating to the Torque settings for all the major bolts found within the kit. Feel free to download or view at your leisure.
Photo Gallery Upgrades:
The photo gallery page has received a slight upgrade to allow Birkin events to be displayed with ease. Photos from the Adelaide Motor Show have been uploaded and can also be viewed by all members.
